A woman walks into a grocery store dressed casually and solemnly. He timidly approached the owner and asked him to take some items home, saying he would pay later. Her voice trembled as she described her predicament. Her husband became seriously ill and was unable to work, so she left to take care of their seven children to make ends meet.
The store owner was unmoved by her pain and ordered the security guards to remove her from the house. However, he continued to apologize and promised to pay me back as soon as possible.
A nearby customer overheard their conversation and watched the horrific events unfold before their eyes. The customer approached the store owner and expressed his desire to shop with his wife, but the owner ignored him. In response, the store owner approaches the woman and asks if she has a list of the products she needs. He answered yes and ordered the list to be weighed.
He hesitantly took a piece of paper and placed it on the scale, but the weight flew as if a heavy stone had been placed on it. This strange sight shocked both the customers and the store.
The shop owner was surprised to see that the woman remained still as she put more food on the scale. Realizing that nothing was amiss, the owner looked at the paper carefully. His amazing prayer was, “O God, you know my need, and I leave this situation in your hands.”
The owner, impressed by the confidence and courage of the woman, agreed to put everything on the scale. The feelings of relief, gratitude, and joy she felt when she pulled out her bag full of groceries were due to simple but powerful words of reassurance.
