Recently, as more and more people fail to maintain proper posture while working in offices or other places, the number of people suffering from back pain due to lifestyle habits is increasing.

We all know how unpleasant this pain is. Especially since it can make everyday activities difficult. Fourteen years after the birth, the woman fell seriously ill.

Unfortunately, it took many years to find the exact cause of back pain. Doctors apparently found part of an epidural needle in the spine.

Amy Bright was born by cesarean section in 2003 at a hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. During this time, she gave birth to her sixth child, Jacob.

The back pain started two months after birth, and since then it has become unbearable and has affected her life. The pain was so bad and didn’t seem normal that I decided to go to the hospital and have a full checkup.

He decided to find out what was causing this back pain and what he could do to relieve it. Amy had a CT scan and discovered a 3cm long needle stuck in her spine, which revealed the cause of her back pain.

Amy had mixed emotions when she learned this information. He was shocked, hurt, angry and most of all scared. Doctors believe the needle broke during the epidural for Jacob’s birth.

Due to years of severe nerve damage, Amy’s left leg is only partially functional. This news will surely shock anyone as a moment of anxiety can affect one’s life. Amy said the needles in her spine move every time she moves, walks, bends, twists and sleeps.

This movement of the needle caused a lot of tissue damage and scarring, making the pain more intense and excruciating.

Amy went to several doctors over 14 years, but none of them thoroughly investigated her back pain and prescribed pain relievers, muscle relaxants, and other medications to help stop the pain.

However, it is clear that this medicine will not help him for long as long as the needle continues to move and cause pain. According to the woman, the pain sometimes felt like a shock and traveled down her leg.

At that time, it was very difficult for him to continue his scheduled activities. The pain was so bad that when he moved, the needle moved and damaged more tissue.

A recent CT scan showed a damaged 3-centimeter epidural needle in the spine. Amy hired a lawyer to help her file a lawsuit against the federal government. He said the needles caused severe pain and permanent nerve damage.

The woman is currently filing a lawsuit against the Florida Naval Hospital where she gave birth to her son. Employees said they knew the needle was broken internally but did nothing about it or told them something was wrong and warranted further investigation.

Due to the negligence of the hospital staff, they could not prevent what happened during these 14 years. Doctors say that even if the pins in Amy’s spine are removed, she could be permanently paralyzed.

Ami will have to take pain medication and undergo physical therapy for the rest of her life. She says the pain continues and she is very worried about the future and doesn’t know if she will be able to cope.

He thinks there is a good chance he will have to use a wheelchair and it makes him nervous because he doesn’t want to be dependent on others to carry him or do basic activities. Amy’s fears about the future are understandable.

Especially if the future could have been prevented. We need to be aware of what is going on around us, and if we feel discomfort after a medical procedure or surgery, we should investigate until we know exactly what is causing the discomfort.
