Alfonso Ribeiro’s adorable daughter Ava Sue, 4, is recovering from a recent scooter accident.
But the persistent youngster achieves great things with the relief of her father, who is famous as the host of “Dancing with the Stars”.
The incident happened the day before Ava’s 4th birthday, a day no one wanted. Alfonso, 51, expressed his heartfelt gratitude on Instagram and thanked the @kareskinmd medical staff for their prompt and competent care.

Alfonso couldn’t help but admire the extraordinary courage his young daughter displayed while undergoing surgery. Alfonso recently gave an upbeat update, revealing that Ava is doing very well despite some difficult and scary times.
He shared his excitement over Ava’s presence at the Fourth of July celebration in Washington, D.C., with his family and noted her remarkable progress in recovery.
Alfonso admits the procedure was extensive and lengthy, but he couldn’t be more proud of Ava’s remarkable recovery.
Recalling the accident that happened last May, Alfonso said he was not present at the time of the accident.
Fortunately, the nanny immediately offered help and Alfonso was notified immediately and needed immediate medical attention. Alfonso and his second wife, Angela Unkrich, who married in 2012, share the joy of becoming parents to Ava.
Moreover, they have two older children in eight years and 9 months of “AJ”. Alfonso also has a 20 -year -old daughter before Robin Stables.
The proud father of four couldn’t help but praise Ava’s incredible strength and resilience, fully aware that the recovery process will take a long time.
“He’s still active and moving,” Alfonso said happily, noting that while the wound is technically healed, the visible scar will take some time to heal.
She acknowledged that while the scars may not be medically significant, they place a huge emotional burden on parents concerned about their children’s well-being.
Ava’s dear mother Angela also took to Instagram to express her care and love for her precious child during the incident.
She revealed that she had a premonition, or maternal instinct, that predicted Ava would end up in the emergency room that morning.
Angela explained that safety and caution were of the utmost importance to everyone involved in organizing Ava’s birthday celebration, including family, friends and babysitters. Little did he know that his words would later affect everyone present.
As Ava Sue continues her path to a full recovery, Alfonso Ribeiro and Angela Unkrich are very grateful for the support and progress their brave daughter has made.
Their unwavering love and loyalty demonstrate the strength of family ties that cannot be broken even in difficult times.
