Elvis Presley is not just a singer with a beautiful voice. His taste and design were impeccable. This was especially true when it came to airplanes. Elvis received his custom plane in 1962. The plane was built to his specifications, complete with mahogany parquet flooring, rose red velvet sofas and plush carpeting.

The beauty of the interior will amaze even the most demanding critic. Elvis Presley’s plane sat idle for over 30 years before his death in 1977. At the time, the plane became a popular tourist attraction en route to Roswell, New Mexico.

However, it was recently auctioned off in Florida and sold for $260,000 to a phone seller who claims to be an Elvis fan. This plane symbolizes the legacy of the King of Rock and his incredible sense of elegance and style.

Elvis Presley’s Jet Found Parked in the Desert

Elvis and his father Vernon Presley must have been thrilled when they took to the skies for the first time in a private jet. No expense has been spared to ensure a great travel experience. Even in the air, Elvis demonstrated his incredible designer talent and attention to detail. Not surprisingly, his airplane became an important part of his legacy soon after his death.

The plane that Elvis Presley sent to his daughter Lisa Marie lay dormant in a remote area of New Mexico for over 30 years. The exterior of the aircraft has lost its luster and turned a bright red color, but is in very good condition for its age.

Anyone entering this unique piece of aviation history is immediately struck by the luxurious decor. The interior walls are finished in traditional oak and the seats are upholstered in the most luxurious red velvet imaginable.

It’s hard not to imagine the King of Rock reclining on one of these chairs, wearing sunglasses and enjoying a luxurious time. The seating area is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for passengers to stretch their legs during the journey.

Behind the large living room is a small kitchen. The kitchen is small but equipped with everything you need to cook, including a vintage microwave.

It’s almost impossible to imagine Elvis making one of his famous sandwiches, a unique blend of peanut butter, mayonnaise, bacon and banana, heating it up in the microwave and then enjoying the taste. With this album, Elvis cemented his status as the undisputed king of rock and roll and established a legacy of unparalleled luxury and style!

Airplane toilets are beautiful, but they could also use more elegant touches like velvet or sophisticated vanities. Still, it’s a big improvement over the tiny bathrooms on charter flights. I was lucky enough to see Elvis in his best party clothes while looking for the bathroom which added to the experience.

The plane sold for $260,000 at the Mecum Kissimmee Collector Car Auction in Florida on January 8. The new owner decided to bid anonymously over the phone. This sale is a significant milestone for the aircraft and we look forward to seeing where it goes.
