Celebrity fitness trainer Heidi Powell shared the amazing story of Jacqueline, who lost 170kg on her own without any professional help. Jacqueline’s experience reminds us that “anything is possible.” Styleoga believes this to be true and is committed to helping people achieve their fitness goals. Jacqueline’s story is complex and detailed. She wrote: “I’m 29 years old. My name is Jacqueline Adan. I’m from California and I’ve always struggled with my weight.”

“Ever since I was young, I felt uncomfortable with my body shape and didn’t look good. “The angrier I was, the more I ate.”

“I was so angry at myself for letting food rule my life and making me gain weight. No matter how hard you try, you can’t regain the weight you lost by sticking to your diet plan, or when it gets too hard, you stop eating and start over. I was always on a diet or worried about food and body type, which was boring, but I was always different!

“When I entered college in 2005, I stopped eating like my peers. “I just wanted to have a ‘normal’ college life, so I started eating like everyone else and stopped worrying about it,” he said.

“Kevin, my partner and Jenny agreed to go to the Disneyland Resort at the end of 2011. Here everything is possible and your wishes come true. “I’ve loved Disneyland Resort since I was little. It’s a place that makes you feel like a princess.”

“I thought going to the happiest place in the world would make me feel better, but when I got there I couldn’t get to the door.

I was so embarrassed I couldn’t walk and it became so hard.

“I felt like I was in a wheelchair at Disneyland. Everyone looked at the fat girl in the driver’s seat, appreciating and respecting her! I was ashamed.”

“I told my sister and Kevin I didn’t want to rollerblade, but I knew I didn’t have the ability to do it and it would kill me. We agreed to go to several attractions but forgot one small aspect.

“I was sitting at the turnstile and I saw Kevin and my sister go by and I felt absolutely horrible. I couldn’t believe I had grown so big. “I went to the bathroom and cried.”

“A few days after I turned 25, I realized I needed a change. One morning I realized that I had to do something about my weight. I wanted to improve my situation. “When I left the center that day, I was prepared and confident and very nervous and scared.”

“I reached half my target weight in May 2013. This was a major achievement for me and I continued to lose weight to reach my goal. I went back to Disneyland in August 2013 with Kevin, Jenny and our cousins. It was a big milestone for me, but I was worried about how I would look and feel in public. Luckily, it was my family’s first trip to Disneyland, so I couldn’t miss it! “

“I was happy to be able to go for a walk, but I needed a wheelchair. While I was waiting in line, my cousins held my hand and showed me the way. Although it was emotionally difficult, I was able to adapt to all the races and never get stuck in the turnstiles. I will no longer let my weight stop me from enjoying life.”

“I’ve always seen Disneyland as a place where dreams come true. I was so touched when Kevin got down on one knee in front of the barn on Christmas Eve.

“I’ve lost a lot of weight and I’m halfway to my goal. I’m 200 pounds lighter than when I first went to Disneyland and I’m engaged to someone who has always supported me. However time passes, I have decided to marry the body I worked so hard for with the person I have been with for so long.

“Losing excess weight was a huge success for me, but I struggled with excess skin. “It’s unpleasant and causes rashes, neck and back pain and headaches.”

“I’m still waiting for the procedure to be approved because insurance companies consider surgery to remove excess skin cosmetics. Although I’m recovering from my first surgery, I’m trying to look to the future with confidence. “I have time left in my life and I want to live it proudly.”

Jacqueline is a special person, full of energy and determination. He faced many challenges throughout his life but always found a way to overcome them.

Her story is truly special and is living proof that with support and dedication, anything is possible. We wish him the best of luck and hope he will be an inspiration to others.
