Children find it extremely stressful to attend school alone, especially in the beginning when they are not acclimated to this new chapter in their lives, as being separated from their parents can be an extremely distressing experience for any child.

Axel Johnson, who was adorable, looked very excited about starting school. He was grinning and waiting for the school bus to arrive when his mother Amy snapped a picture of him.

He was going to cry, though, and his expression changed as it was time for him to join the group. When Axel had to part ways with his mother, it’s clear that he wasn’t as resilient as he had thought.

Isabel Lane, the bus driver, saw the change in Axel’s expression from happy to sad, but she was determined to reassure him that riding the bus and going to school with a lot more kids his age wasn’t scary.

Axel grabbed onto Isabel’s hand as she positioned it behind her while Axel sat on the seat behind her. Amy was able to capture a gorgeous moment on camera.

Isabel demonstrated her concern for the happiness of the kids in addition to her role as a driver.

She wanted Axel to understand that, even in the absence of his mother, he could always rely on her when riding the bus. She gave the scared boy reassurance that everything would be okay with her act.

Amy shared the picture of her son with the bus driver on Facebook because she thought it was so worth sharing.

She knew that people would like it, but she didn’t anticipate receiving so many compliments on it.

Even the local police department shared the picture, garnering over 2,400 reactions.

Isabel was taken aback by the compliments. “In my opinion, it wasn’t that significant of a concern. “I suppose I would do this,” she uttered.

Still, it was a significant event. The next day, Axel no longer felt afraid because he realized Isabel was his friend. He was beaming and excited to be starting a new journey.

Isabel has a lot to do with the fact that Axel now looks forward to every school day.
