After losing his father, a man faced a dilemma about caring for his aging mother. He decided to place her in a nursing home, feeling that he couldn’t manage her care at home. Unfortunately, his visits became infrequent, often just once in a while.
Then, one fateful day, the man received a call that changed everything. His mother’s health had taken a turn for the worse, and it seemed she might be living her last days.
He hurried to the nursing home, anxiously heading to his mother’s room. Filled with concern, he asked her if there was anything he could do to help.
With a steady gaze, his mother expressed just a few simple requests. Eager to fulfill her last wishes, he assured her he would do so.

Looking deep into his eyes, she replied, “I know I’m nearing the end, but when your children ever decide that they don’t want you close and bring you here… I want you to find better comforts. Remember, what you offer is what you get.”
These poignant words shattered his heart. He realized the weight of his mistake, understanding he should not have left her in the nursing home against her will.
