She shared a selfie on social media taken from her hospital bed with a tube in her nose. Diagnosis: intestinal obstruction. This condition can be caused by many factors, such as adhesions, hernias, scar tissue, tumors or even Crohn’s disease. Despite the challenges he faced, the judge hoped the additional tests would keep him from needing surgery.
This is not the first time the judge has addressed the issue of the intestine. In 2012, he underwent emergency surgery to remove a blocked hernia that had affected part of his intestines.
