A Swimming Champion’s Remarkable Career

She was a high school swimming champion, winning the California state championship in the 200-meter individual medley and the 500-meter freestyle. Her talent led her to compete briefly for the University of Southern California (USC) before transferring to the University of Maine, where she continued to exce.
