Country singer Toby Keith is speaking out about his health for the first time. The fan favorite was diagnosed with stomach cancer in the fall of 2021.

Since then, he has received treatment.

Keith shared a get well message on his social media profiles.

“In the last six months I’ve had chemotherapy, radiation and surgery,” she said.

Following Kate’s announcement, the Ohio State Fair confirmed the cancellation of the July 28 event in Columbus, Ohio.

Kate’s spokeswoman Elaine Schock said some tour dates may also be cancelled, but “we don’t know by how much at this point.”

His website also announced the release of the singer’s latest album, “Pesos in My Pocket,” which was released last year after he stopped touring due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Keith said the inspiration for the album’s songs came from him.
